A 3 year Post-Doctoral Research Fellow position in Applied Mathematics, 
funded by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council is
available at the University of St Andrews.

The deadline for applying is 15 October 2009.

The successful candidate will work within the Vortex Dynamics Research 
Group of the School of Mathematics and Statistics of the University.
The research project focuses on

   "The structure, stability and interaction of geophysical vortices"
